CONS employment specialists and other interested parties, Below is the weekly update of Scioto Ridge activities. The roundtable scheduled for Wednesday night in Hilliard looks like it will be especially interesting for those looking to find employment at some of the largest companies in Columbus. Please pass this tip along to anyone who might be interested. As has been pointed out recently, this organization (and most other social networking groups I am familiar with) caters mostly to a white collar audience. If there are any local groups you are aware of that have more of a blue collar focus, please let me know so that I can spread the word.

Meeting and Activity Schedule for This Week:
Members and Friends, In addition to our great chapter meetings, some of our most popular events are our panel discussions. On Wednesday evening, you will have the opportunity of hearing from vice president and senior level corporate recruiters from Nationwide Insurance, Cardinal Health, JP Morgan Chase and other major Columbus employers . You will be able to ask them the important questions that all of us in transition have had. For example, "Where do our resumes actually go? Why don't we ever hear back? How do we know if you received it? How do we network inside the large organizations? How are the resumes sorted?", and much more.
