A generous donation of "expensive" cheese blend powder has come my way. (Thanks Lori A.!)
It is enough and to share. I have divided it into two-cup portions and will bring it to Church today. This is a fantastic and free food storage opportunity for the first 20 people that want a sample.
The powder is similar to what comes in the Kraft macaroni and cheese box, but with less scary ingredients and of a much higher quality. You can use it with your food storage macaroni or make spreads/sauces, cheesey potato casserole or soup, dips, ... I experimented and made cheesey popcorn last night---yumbola!
Here are the reconstituting instructions---because I'm not going to write it out 20 times:
Combine cheese blend powder with hot water. Stir together until smooth and creamy. Spread = 3/4 cup powder and 3/4 cup hot water for 1 cup spread Sauce = 1 cup powder and 1/2 cup hot water for 1 cup sauce
